NEW ‘DUB PISTOLS IN DUB’ SHOW AIRS MONDAY
Tune in on Monday 08/02 between 12-2pm for the latest Dub Pistols in Dub, Totally Wired Radio show, presented by Barry & Seanie T, where they’ll be serving up their usual blend of feel good tunes, as well as an exclusive 30 minute mix from Canada’s finest Dubmatix.
Last weekend Barry Ashworth took part in and online festival to help raise money for the charity Mind. The show is now available on Youtube for you to watch and listen back to.
Every year, the third Monday of January is dubbed ‘Blue Monday’. The theory goes that this is the time of year when we’re all cold, broke and riddled with guilt that our New Year’s resolutions to get fit, drink less alcohol, and be a better human being have fallen by the wayside.
This year, to mark the infamous day (18/01/21), we’ve released ‘Blue Monday’, a cover of the New Order classic, recorded with our good friends Dubmatix, with all proceeds going to Tonic Music for Mental Health.
The single is released digitally alongside a Dub mix by Grammy nominated Reggae producer Gaudi, as well as on limited edition 7”, with the Dubmatix version on side A and a special ‘Stepper’ mix, also supplied by Gaudi, on the B-side.

The lucky winner and a friend will COME DINE WITH BARRY at the Fox & Duck, where the lovely landlord, Ivan will create a feast for Barry & the lucky winner to enjoy.
Ivan has kindly donated a meal for all at the highly rated Fox & Duck in the beautiful setting of Therfield, where you will get to enjoy and afternoon of the finest food and dine with Tonic patron and Dub Pistol frontman Barry Ashworth.

The Tonic Rider programme supports live music venues across the UK by raising awareness of suicide and mental health issues within the music industry.
The programme is designed for artists, roadies, managers, promoters, sound crews, production crews and everyone in between. Tonic’s aim is to target green rooms, venues across the UK, and to include the Tonic Rider on all rider lists and wall posters.
The Tonic Rider provides information on coping strategies, anxiety, depression, performance anxiety and post-show blues, along with signposting to services that can help in a crisis.
By supporting the Tonic Rider, you will be joining Tonic on their mission to raise mental health awareness, challenge stigma and promote mental wellbeing through music and the arts.
