We’re thrilled to announce our new album ‘Addict’ is set for release on September 11th, 2020 and available to pre-order right now, through acclaimed label, Sunday Best Recordings.
The record is a melting pot of dubwise sensibility, junglist riddims and feelgood party anthems and it’s been a real pleasure working on it.
We recorded over 3 albums worth of music to get to the finished version – Every time we finished a song, we would come up with another idea for a track and an artist we wanted to work with. It’s been incredible to collaborate with all the legends on the record, but it’s also the new emerging talent such as Natty Campbell and Gardna that feature that have really given us new enthusiasm.
‘Addict’ may have taken two years to record, but it has been 25 years in the making and we can’t wait for you to hear it!

This week’s guest on Life In The Stocks is musician, DJ, producer, and frontman and leader of the Dub Pistols, Mr Barry Ashworth. Matt went to Barry’s house last week for a cup of tea – how civilised – to discuss lockdown life, Ibiza in 1987 and the second summer of love, pills, partying, rave culture, the history of the Dub Pistols, working with the likes of Terry Hall, Rodney P, Busta Rhymes and Gregory Issacs, and bunch of other crazy tales from his storied life and career.
As with many other events planned this summer, one of our favourite festivals ‘Nozstock The Hidden Valley’ had to be cancelled due to Covid-19.
