Splore Reveals First International Acts For 2016
he organisers of Splore have revealed the first set of international acts for the 2016 festival. The line-up will see Alabama indie act Waxahatchee grace these shores along with The Reverend Peyton and His Big Damned Band, Dub Pistols, Tkay Maidza, Jordan Rake and DJ Sarah Love. These international outfits join a handful of local acts that were announced earlier this year for the annual arts and music festival. Splore 16 – announcing the first milestone on the line-up journey

Splore has released a typically diverse line-up of artists in its first major announcement for the February 2016 event with five international artists making their New Zealand debuts.
the UK’s dancefloor-friendly, Dub Pistols will make their first visit to NZ. The super-tight UK festival regular keep winning new fans at Glastonbury and Bestival with their blend of ska, dub and hip hop. Led by the charismatic Barry Ashworth, The Dub Pistols have worked with The Specials, Busta Rhymes, Horace Andy, Madness and Gregory Isaacs.Splore 2016 – Key Facts

Date: 19-21 February 2016 Gates open 8am Friday 19 February, entertainment finishes 5pm Sunday 21 February
Where: Tapapakanga Park, Deerys Road, Orere Point
Tickets: Available from iticket.co.nz. Early birds are sold out.
First tier tickets on sale $235 + BF
Youth tickets on sale $125 + BF
Children 12 and under FREE

There are ample free camping sites, but reserved camping ensures reserved campsite ticket holders with a centrally located campsite no matter what time they arrive onsite.

Reserved camping – $100 + BF Each reserved campsite is eligible to park one (1) vehicle in the adjacent reserved camping car park.

Reserved camper sites – $130 + BF

Car passes – $50 + BF. A refund of $35 will be processed if the car contains three or more people.

Splore Express Bus – Splore encourages taking the bus, easy way to get to and from Splore.
