Dub Pistols will preform 4 dates across Greece in Sept/Oct 2011
The Rehash album sees a number of high-profile remixers tackle classic Dub Pistols tracks from their last three albums. Ex-Leftfield man Paul Daley has re-made the second album’s title track, lilting stone cold classic ‘Six Million Ways To Live’, into a new wave electroid roller. Other remixers on the project include Matthew ‘Bushwacka’ B, one half of the acclaimed Layo & Bushwacka duo, and Wrong Tom, who has just released an album of dubwise reworkings of Roots Manuva’s back catalogue, as well as underground DJ/producer hotshots such as Ben & Lex and Kouncil House.
It’s June, which means the festival season has already started – so we thought we would put together a podcast to get you into the outdoor spirit.
Dub Pistols recently recorded a Podcast exclusive to Glade Festival so many people have requested we put it up for download we felt we couldn’t refuse, so here it is.
After our storming live show @ Jungle Jam last month the Dub Pistols return to Leeds on The 7th October to headline “Raise the Roof” @ The Indian centre alongside the Mighty Utah Saints, its all for Charity and im sure we will not just raise the roof but take it off. “Theres Gonna be a riot”
